GLENDALE, AZ (November 14, 2017) Country music superstar Brad Paisley has announced the continuation of his highly successful Weekend Warrior World Tour with dates added in 2018. The 27-date tour will kick-off on January 25 in Los Angeles at the STAPLES Center and extend through April, with more dates to be added. The tour will stop at Glendale’s Gila River Arena on January 27. Special guests will be Broken Bow Records Platinum-selling artist Dustin Lynch, RED BOW Records hit-maker Chase Bryant and fast-rising star and multi-instrumentalist Lindsay Ell.
The 2018 Weekend Warrior World Tour is promoted by Concerts West/AEG Presents. Ticket on-sale information will be released soon.
Brad Paisley is a consummate singer, songwriter, guitarist and entertainer whose talents have earned him numerous awards, including three GRAMMYs, two American Music Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards (including Entertainer of the Year), among many others. He has been a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2001. Paisley has written 21 of his 24 #1 hits including his most recent smash, “Today.” The song resonated with fans around the globe with the music video garnering over 43 million views, so far. “Heaven South” is his current single from his 11th studio album, LOVE AND WAR, which was released April 21. It is his 9th consecutive studio album to debut #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. On April 28 LOVE AND WAR was released as country music’s first ever visual album for a limited time exclusively on Apple Music and now is available on VEVO. Paisley contributed two instrumental tracks to the Disney·Pixar movie Cars 3, which hit theaters on June 16. I-10 Alert: Westbound I-10 CLOSED in Phoenix This Weekend
Drivers should use alternate routes to avoid heavy traffic
Deck Park Tunnel maintenance will force closure of westbound I-10 between the I-17 “Split” interchange near Sky Harbor Airport and the I-17 “Stack” interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Ongoing Loop 202 construction will force closure of westbound I-10 between 43rd and 59th Avenues, west of I-17, from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
In order to avoid I-10 closures, East Valley drivers should:
- Use Loop 101 across the north and west
- Use I-17 westbound to Loop 101
Deck Park Tunnel Closure
From 9pm Friday, January 26 to 10pm Saturday, January 27, westbound I-10 will be closed between the I-17 “Split” near the airport and the I-17 “Stack” south of McDowell for work to repair a deck joint above the Deck Park Tunnel.
- Westbound I-10 traffic will detour to northbound I-17 near downtown Phoenix.
- Southbound State Route 51 ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed
- Westbound Loop 202 traffic will have access to westbound I-10 but must exit at 7th Street and use alternate westbound routes, including McDowell Road
- Traffic entering westbound I-10 from the west end ramp at Sky Harbor Airport will be limited to accessing northbound SR 51 or eastbound Loop 202.
Loop 202 Construction Closure
From 10pm Friday, January 26 to 5am Monday, January 29, westbound I-10 will be closed between 43rd and 59th Avenues west of downtown Phoenix for construction at the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway traffic interchange.
Southbound I-17 off-ramp at McDowell Road and southbound I-17 ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed.
- Exit southbound I-17 at Thomas Road and travel west beyond the I-10 closure.
- Westbound I-10 on-ramps at 27th, 35th and 43rd avenues will be closed.
- Westbound I-10 traffic exiting at 43rd Avenue can detour to westbound McDowell Road or Van Buren Street and re-enter I-10 west of the closure.
