UFC 263 CEREMONIAL WEIGH-IN

Join us ahead of fight night for the UFC 263 ceremonial weigh-in this Friday, June 11 at Gila River Arena. The event is open to the public and seating will be GA first come, first serve.

All venue visitors attending the ceremonial weigh in and/ or UFC 263  on June 12, 2021 are required to fill out a health questionnaire before entering the venue. We are partnering with Health Pass by CLEAR to help you seamlessly enter the fight. Health Pass is a free mobile solution that allows you to complete COVID-related screening requirements before arriving.

To get started, download the CLEAR app before event day and enroll for free here.

All you need is a government-issued ID. Remember to complete the health survey no more than twelve hours before fight night.

*Please note the health survey opens for fan completion 12 hours before each event         (3AM on Friday, June 11 for the Ceremonial Weigh-in and 3AM on Saturday, June 12 for the fight).

NON- SMOKING FACILITY

To limit touchpoints, Gila River Arena is now a non-smoking facility. There will not be any indoor or outdoor smoking areas available for fan use during UFC. Fans who exit the venue to smoke will not be permitted reentry into the venue. Cigarettes, vapes, e-cigarettes, lighters, etc are strictly prohibited.

First, and most importantly, the health and safety of all guests in Gila River Arena is paramount. 

Guidelines include:

  • Recommending fans wear a face covering at all times
  • Requiring all fans to fill out a Health Questionnaire through CLEAR App.
  • Increasing sanitization of high touch point areas including door handles, hand rails, and elevator buttons
  • Installed hand sanitizer stations throughout the arena
  • Implemented a cashless environment to decrease physical contact with fans
  • Encouraging physical distancing when possible

You must follow all arena policies, including health and safety policies, and posted instructions while in the arena and on arena property. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By entering the arena and arena grounds, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Gila River Arena has transitioned to a cashless transaction arena ensuring contactless options for food, beverage and merchandise purchases. Credit card transactions only. Cash will no longer be accepted.

Limited concessions will be open for fans to purchase food and beverages (including alcohol).

Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the venue for the ceremonial weigh-in. Outside food, beverage, liquid containers, alcohol, cans, bottles, flasks (Hydroflasks, metal, etc.), coolers or water bottles are strictly prohibited.

Containers                                                                                                                  Outside food, beverage, liquid containers, alcohol, cans, bottles, flasks (Hydroflasks, metal, etc.), coolers or water bottles are strictly prohibited.

Cameras
No professional cameras for guests at the event; only cameras which can fit in the front pocket are permitted. Cameras with a detachable lens or zoom lens’ longer than 1” inch are strictly prohibited. Video cameras, tripods, selfie sticks and go pro type cameras are strictly prohibited. 

Noisemakers
All types of noisemakers are strictly prohibited including air horns, whistles, clackers etc.

Laser Pointers
All types of Laser Pointers are strictly prohibited. 

Flags/Placards
Flags and hand-held placards must be under 2 ft x 3 ft, may NOT be attached to a pole/stick, and bear no message which may be construed as offensive. Messaging must be event specific. The use of flags or placards as a means of advertising is strictly prohibited. 

Smoking Related Products                                                                                       Cigarettes, vapes, e-cigarettes, lighters, etc are strictly prohibited.
